Additionally, each Echo is classified by the star level and color of the monster it comes from.
WUTHERING WAVES ECHO MONSTER LEVEL | COLOR |
2 Stars | Green |
3 Stars | Blue |
4 Stars | Purple |
5 Stars | Gold |
Each character can equip up to five Echoes, which provide various buffs. The top slot is the primary slot, granting a special ability to the Echo placed there, making it the most important.
At the start of the game, you can build a team with a total Echo cost of 10, with a common build being 4-3-1-1-1.
By upgrading your Data Bank, you can increase this total cost to 12, allowing for more powerful team composition, such as 4-3-3-1-1.
To improve your Data Bank early in the game, defeat monsters and collect their Echoes while completing main quests or exploring the map.
Focus on leveling your Data Bank to level nine to increase the drop rate of 4-cost Tacet Discords.
Once you reach Data Bank level 15, you’ll have a 30% chance of obtaining a 5-star Echo from each monster encounter, making team improvement much easier.
