Best Changli build: weapons

Unsurprisingly, the best weapon for this Changli build is her signature weapon, Blazing Brilliance. It can provide a decent boost to attack and crit damage. Most importantly, dealing damage with this weapon will get you Searing Feather, which can stack up and boost Resonance skill damage.
Emerald of Genesis is a solid 5-star alternative if you don’t want to spend money on Changli’s signature weapon. Equipping it will increase your energy regeneration, allowing you to use your ultimate more frequently.
Furthermore, using the Resonance skill will give you a tremendous attack boost. The overall damage difference between Blazing Brilliance and Emerald of Genesis isn’t much, so we recommend going with the latter, as you can get it more easily by reaching Union Rank 45 or from the standard weapon convene.
As for the 4-star weapons, we recommend going with either Commando of Conviction or Lunar Cutter. Both can increase your attack, and their overall damage output is almost identical.

The best primary Echo for this Changli build is the Inferno Rider since it can boost her Fusion damage and basic attack. You would want to equip five pieces of Molten Rift set to get more Fusion damage boost.
However, if you plan to use Changli as a sub-DPS character that boosts attack and damage for another DPS character, such as Jinhsi or Encore, you may want to go with Impermanence Heron and five pieces of Moonlit Clouds set.
The Moonlit Clouds 5-set bonus will significantly boost the attack of the incoming character after you use your Outro skill. It’s worth pointing out that if you use Encore, you would not just buff her attack but also her Fusion and Resonance Liberation damage, thanks to Changli’s Outro skill effect.
The Moonlit Clouds set bonus also includes increased energy regeneration, so you would be encouraged to frequently swap to Changli to unleash her ultimate ability.
Best Changli build: Forte priority
We recommend upgrading Changli’s forte in the following order:
- Resonance skill
- Forte Circuit
- Resonance Liberation
- Basic attack
- Intro skill
Changli deals the most damage from her Forte and Resonance skills, so it’s best to upgrade them first.
Her ultimate, Resonance Liberation, should be next in line, especially if you are getting increased energy regeneration from the Moonlit Clouds Echo set.
If you want to use Changli as a sub-DPS character instead of the main DPS, we recommend upgrading her Intro skill first, but if not, you could leave it to the last, alongside her basic attack.
